Three Winter Cocktail Recipes Featuring Jasper Winery Wine and Madhouse Beer

ThreeWinterRecipes.TheDishonDMLast weekend we hosted an ugly Christmas sweater party at our house to kick off the holiday season. The night was filled with jingling sweaters, jolly Christmas music, Elf (my favorite movie of all time), a “best dressed” contest and a few holiday beverages and snacks.

While planning our festive drink and snack menu, I came across some of the most perfect (and local) snack and beverage recipes. So, if you’re looking for a boozy holiday drink to share with friends and family – look no further!

Below are three delicious winter cocktails featuring two wines from Jasper Winery – Lucy Lane and Behind the Shed Red – and a local beer, Madhouse Coffee Stout.

Fireside

  • 1 Bottle Lucy Lane
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 10 whole allspice
  • 10 whole cloves
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 orange

Combine ingredients in crockpot and heat on low. Orange can float on top. Do not boil.

Warm Cranberry Red

  • 1 Bottle Behind the Shed Red
  • 32 oz. cranberry juice
  • 1¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Combine ingredients in crockpot and heat on low. Do not boil. Float fresh cranberries on top for garnish.

Sparkling Stout

  • Madhouse Coffee Stout
  • Sparkling wine

Combine 1-part Coffee Stout with 2-parts sparkling wine in a glass. Garnish with chocolate sauce or serve with chocolate-covered fruit.
